My collection of RC aircraft is slowly growing out of control. I do not have a dedicated storage location, nor a dedicated recharge station. (usually the island in my kitchen).
So I went out an bought a 6'X10' enclosed trailer. I have installed solar panels on the roof to keep a deep cycle battery topped off. Actually in full sun it will pretty much power the Hitech X2 charger with out much from the battery. I have built a work table in the nose of the trailer to serve as a recharge work area. If it ever cools off some I will start building the shelving to store the fixed wing aircraft, my H480 can live in his foam case.
I'll post some pictures when I get it all set up.

I can store everything, and when I want to go fly, just latch on to the trailer and go. No more unloading and loading the van.
I have storage under the work table for my part boxes, batteries, and transmitters. I have mounted my charger to the table with Velcro, and since I now use a DC input, I can charge two batteries at once at a full rate. The inverter is more to charge my laptop and transmitters with.
No more running my car battery down while charging.
