You mean the charger was beeping, not the battery, right?

They do that when the battery is not seated correctly. Read the instructions...

Same problem and reseating the battery hundreds of times didn't help.

Have you:

A) Tried a different battery?

B) Tried a different Charger?

C) Used a multimeter to check current voltage level?

The red/green flashing means the battery is charged and trying to balance the cell voltages. Either the cells are too imbalanced due to too great of IR difference with the cells, or the charger has a problem on the balance leads.

Use the attached document to measure the voltages of each cell in your battery using a DC Voltmeter.

I tried to charge 2 new batteries today, and with both the charger lights went from solid red to red and green alternating, then blue started blinking along with red and green. I put the batteries on a B6 V2 balance charger, and both balanced and charged as they should.
Do I have a defective charger?

Check the spring loaded pins on the charger for consistent tension and ensure they are clean (shiny, not dull looking). The OEM charger will also blink blue if the cells have too large a difference in voltage. Check individual cell voltages.
