Given the rate of new updates a new one should be along soon.

Finally, after a month+, I got my bird back from Yuneec Germany Support.
Looks and smell like they gave me a brand new controller with same serial number... Hmm...(some scratches where gone)

But after a short test this afternoon in windy condition, I'm confident that my problems are fixed as the bird flies

BUT several things were new e.g.:

• ST16S boot faster than before. From power on to ready 50 sec.
• ST16S don't ask for firmware updates anymore?
• ST16S is updated to:
  • CONTROLLER_1.1.02_20180930, newer that b.575.
  • APP_1.1.02_20180930
• AutoPilot is updated to 1.4.0
• C23 is updated to C_23_E:1.1.02_20180930

Maybe this is old stuff, but info is new

Hmmmm, after the update I get "Loss of RC Control" after the drone gets about 50 to 100 yards away, it then returns on its own. Could this be a update glitch?

Same thing with me. I'm calling Yuneec support. Should be able to get more than a 100 yards from a drone that costs $1800.

Do a reflash. This not a Yuneec issue, but applies to all drones, when a build is not working properly . Your options:
1) Factory reset (ST16s)
2) Flash via cloud (internet)
3) Manual flash of the FW
