Video Editing Software

Does Filmora give any issues with downloading? I find my Eset Antivirus is very fussy about downloading from sites.
I didn't experience any issues when I downloaded it. My virus prog is Kaspersky Total Security.

Edit: You thinking of getting Filmora? Please note that it isn't the very best out there but isn't too expensive either and has a fairly easy learning curve.

It's a good starting point, I'll give it a try.

Well, the free version is heavily watermarked so any video rendered out from the free version would be useless for posting to a site like this, say.

I don't know how much it costs to buy these days since I bought my licence back in 2017 but I suspect that it may have even come down in price.

I'm looking for a simple video editing app because I started my YouTube channel, but I wouldn't say I like editing videos because I don't have the right tools to edit them. Do you have any recommendations?

Yeah, totally! First, I wish you good luck on your YouTube channel and hope you work hard to achieve your goals. Also, I can tell you that it is not the editing of the videos that is that important but your engagement in them)))But if you want an excellent editing app, click here for the best editing app I ever worked with. It’s super easy to use but has all the tools you’d need for professional editing. I’ve been using it for a while now, and it’s a game-changer.

SONY, DJI and GoPro all have free versions as well as Davinci.

A professional video editing SW is DaVinci Resolve. It is available for LINUX, MAC and Windows.
It is hard to learn but has a good community and tons of tutorial videos from beginner to expert.

But for me as simple user is Openshot (see above) the better solution. For simple cuts I use also Avidemux.
