Can somebody tell me the difference between an "H", "H+" and "H Pro"? I am really new to this and when I purchased mine they advertised it as a Typhoon H Pro. Now as I do all this reading on many web sites, I see the discussions on the H and the H+ but nobody every says H Pro. Just what do I have?o_Oo_O

I have attached a copy of the Ad as Iisted on Amazon.

I Agree, the Standard Typhoon H and Typhoon H Pro, are exactly the same aircraft, controller and camera as well as the flight controller software. Back in the day, the 'Pro' was the top level 'bundle as it came with an Extra Battery, RealSense, Wizard Wand and Backpack, while the standard (at that time) base model only came with one battery and no frills. Later they added a mid level bundle that included all the extras except RealSense and some would argue that it too was/is a Pro due to it having, the three antenna ST-16. Regardless, if your Typhoon is carrying a CG03+ - it is now best referred to as a Typhoon 480 or a standard Typhoon.

The Typhoon H Plus is a completely different model as it not only has a much better and more advanced camera, but also the flight control software is different. In fact, outside of appearances, very little of the standard Typhoon H series ( H, H Pro), remains in the Plus. They are not interchangeable in any way.

The H+ shouldn't be flown by a butter bar / rookie. Some folks are naturally talented and can master flying with ease, others not so lucky.
Start with something simple, like a DJI,:D

The Typhoon H & H Pro look like the H Plus but for the most part they completely different aircraft. The H & H Pro are both 480mm airframes, but the Plus (and the H520) use a 520mm frame with longer arms and larger motors. They only share the body shell, landing gear and gimbal mount. Everything internal is different.

The ST16 & ST16+ are interchangeable but are only compatible with the H480 (the H & H Pro), where as the ST16S only works with the H Plus (& H520). The flight controller programing is completely different for the two aircraft sizes and are not interchangeable.

The cameras are also different and not interchangeable. Advanced features are pretty much the same, yet use different procedures to initiate them. In reality the H480 and the H Plus are not siblings, only distant cousins because they only share the family name.

So you're sayin the H480's mom got knocked up by the mailman...

In reality it was more likely the milkman. However we can't rule out the possibility of inbreeding within the Yuneec family either, this would be a logical conclusion given all the oddities of the Plus.
Hard to tell for certain until we get the DNA results back.

The H Pro is just the Typhoon H w/ Real sense.
It seems to be marketed slightly different in countries, in UK Yuneec say Yuneec Advanced for standard, Pro version with Backpack, extra battery and wizard, and couple of extra props, then Pro with realsense with all accessories of the Pro.

A member on here said the C23 can be operated on a 480, ST16s for camera and St16 for the copter, like team mode, expensive way.

This experiment has been conducted by the mad scientist in Dr FrankenPhoon's laboratory, and is not true in any sense but one. The C23 video will appear on the ST16S Ground station when the C23 is mounted to the H480 and powered up. That's it other than the ability to start and stop a recording. Neither the ST16S nor the ST16 will control the C23 gimbal when mounted to an H480, it is dead to any input and the gimbal just buzzes.

Steve Carr made the comment! It will power up on the 480 and you control it with the s16s.

Hey @Steve Carr, you've got some 'plaining to do!
Steve is getting on in years, maybe he had an old man moment and got his Hs and his Plus confused. Hey Steve, putting the orange H20 body on my Plus really helps with that! Doesn't happen nearly as often now!;)

Well then, that begs the question, who's the 'baby daddy' of the breeze, because that shares no family resemblance at all. :D;)
