Antennas on while charging ST16?

Do I need to have the antennas on the ST16 while it is charging? I understand the antennas have to be on whenever the controller is on, but is the controller on while charging?

No, they do not need to be attached when you are charging.

No you don't but I always leave mine on just in case the unit is accidentally turned on...not just while charging but at any time. You'd be amazed on how fast you can fry things when those antennas are off and the unit is switched on!

Yea, instantly. I leave mine on for the same reason. You can’t depend on getting away with forgetting even once.
