Boosting WiFi Reception

Hi All

Is there a way to boost Wi-Fi reception on the ST16 controller ? I am hoping there is an after market product that is available. I am not looking at increasing distance but currently suffering with losing video pictures at around 100 metres which is very frustrating.. any tips or advice greatly accepted

Edit: Moved per your request, thanks for noticing your mispost. A topic that I have not seen discussed (or found with search) on this forum is the maximum range distance of the H Plus. I know the specs state 1 mile which exceeds VSOL unless you are an eagle or hawk so I hadn't worried too...

The most practical way to maximize video range is with a directional hi-gain antenna on the ST16's 5.8gHz connection.
Of course it needs to be aimed at the H during any distance flying
The 5.8gHz signal is attenuated by tree leaves & pine needles, especially if they are wet with dew or rain.
My home base is among many trees, so my video range is about 700m with the flat panel antenna.
Both of these shots were made at the same location. The highway is 800m out.
