Hello,
I want to get a Typhoon H Plus from ebay. As I understand it, the Plus has the ST16S Smart Controller and the PX4 based Flight Controller.
Is it enough proof it is a Typhoon H Plus if it has a ST16S smart controller?
Do I need to confirm it has a PX4 based flight controller?
How can someone confirm it has the PX4 based flight controller?

Thank You for any assistance!

Ultimately, you will have to rely on your evaluation of the sellers integrity, and ensure you will have access to eBay protection policies. Someone else will need to address the flight controller.

Here is a general way to differentiate between the drones:
1.) If it's gray and has a CGo3+, it's a Typhoon H (480)
2.) If it's gray and has a C23, It's an H Plus
3.) If it's orange and has an E90, It's an H520.

Unless it's not standard.

Another clue with the transmitter is the ST16 for the H480 series has metal arms on the handle.

The ST16S for the H Plus/H520 has an all plastic handle.

And another clue, only a Plus will have "Plus" printed right next to the power switch.

What are the photos showing? Ask for more photos to confirm, like controller turned on showing screen, the camera and top of the copter body, if there genuine they will do that.

The LED Covers under the motors are also very different. It is hard to explain but if you have a look at the pictures you will see the difference immediatly.

Are you really going to ask the seller to start measuring? They probably wouldn't know where to start.

I agree with all the above but for a visual aid, skip to 46 seconds in this video and you will see all of the differences side by side.
