Controller won’t connect to iPhone

Correct. Only in pilot mode or controller mode. All other modes use onscreen control from phone.

Pilot Mode only uses the phone, the controller can only be used in Controller Task mode.

That would explain why I crashed then. Lol. It couldn’t have been because I was piggy backing a parrot drone with claw attachment flying my fishing line out past the third sandbar.
