Creating a drone flight trace on google Earth:

by using a spreadsheet and GPS Visualizer website

(for Yuneec Breeze flight log data in App controller mode)

You can use a spreadsheet, a website named GPS Visualizer and Google Earth to display your Yuneec Breeze’s flight path. It takes some effort but the resulting KMZ file can be archived for viewing later. Here are the steps that I used:

1-copy the flight log to a new directory, rename the log file with a *.txt file type extension and open the text file

2-highlight all of the entries, copy the data (ctrl-C), open a blank spreadsheet, select cell A1 and paste the data (ctrl-V) into the spreadsheet using a comma as the delimiter

3-the pasted flight data looks like this in the spreadsheet

4-if you want the UTC data to appear in column 1 then highlight column 1 and format the time as shown here (otherwise skip this step)
time reformat:

after reformatting:

5-highlight and copy the 2 GPS (lat / long) data columns as shown and paste to a new spreadsheet

6-the GPS data needs to be divided by 10000000 (a one followed by seven zeros) to be valid. Enter the formula shown here to cell D1

7-apply the formula by pressing enter. The valid GPS entry appears in cell D1 and is derived from cell A1.

8-select and copy the ‘value’ (contains the formula too) of cell D1.

9-highlight the cells in columns D and E
