Hi.
As a semi professional photographer at heart and a dude who has flown large scales rc planes, helicopters and cars for more than 30 years I finally received my first drone, the H Plus, last week. The manual was imprinted for weeks ago and all preflight & calibrations was learned and done, batteries fully charged and I was standing on my lawn on a shining day with the controller in my hands ready to take off. With a large amount of butterflies in the stomach I choose to takeoff manually instead of a button.
And I must say I’m very expressed of how a long way the technology has come in regarding to how autonomous a drone can be as the H+ almost flown it self. Super easy to maneuver in every direction and I felt extremely comfortable with the controller and flight models. Just after 2 batteries I felt totally comfortable to ‘walk the dog’ at 2m hight without GPS or RS enabled and land near my pool.
In the moment I totally forgot about video recording but I managed to record this.
