There is a small community of users that are flying the Typhoon H with customized firmware based on PX4 autopilot.
We are looking for developer to extent this project. We lost the original developer for this project because he is dong other things which is understandable and clearly his right. But getting more original functionality of the Typhoon H working would extent the user base and give the great platform of this Yuneec drone a longer life.
The so called Thunderbird FW makes the flight controller open source and able to use all PX4 features including QGroundControl which is also opensource - a step into a world where all is possible.

Since Toni doesn't answer on Pull requestes any more we should fork this project. I have forked it to add documentation:
