hi guys i have a question, as in the title, is it possible to fly with the camera disconnected?
the idea is to make an insta360 fly below the drone

any idea on how to achieve this? i suspect that if i disconnect the camera i can't arm motors and fly

just found this guy

if yuneec makes an update to use an insta360 on the ST16 it would be super cool and possibly make them sell more drones...just to give an idea

The H3 binds via the 2.4Ghz SR24, not the camera. I can't check that right now, but it would probably work and is easy enough for you to try.

Remove the props to test. The motors will either "bump" start, or run for a few seconds, then shutdown with lots of noise and red lights for a few seconds. That's normal.

The Typhoon H in this video above is not depending on camera WiFi 5GHz connection because telemetry is sent via 2.4GHz and only in addition via 5GHz WiFi.

For H plus, H3 or H520 that is different. You can still fly without camera but you will not have telemetry any more. That means no Mission, no automatic flights and more important no information about battery status. Either you have to care by yourself, i.e reducing flight time, or risk unexpected RTH or even emergency landing.
People I know that using another camera have a MAVlink bridge added to the drone. Yuneec has it in product portfolio but I don't know availability and it is expensive.
You can build it by yourself if you have some parts:

Please make a video, friend🙏 for h520 with d1

I will not make a video. But I have updated the document in the link above for new esptool version and new firmware version. I was surprised what a number of changes were needed.
Espressife has changes the commands so that I have to update my flash tool.
Also the latest MAV bridge FW has new default SSID and password and a new user interface at webserver.
All links updated.

Maybe u can help me the youtube tutorial that i can see for the mentor, that relevant with ur tutorial 🙏. But for now my drone was crashed, because for lift payload 1.5kg. Im confusing cause i live in Indonesia. None sparepart here. Can i get 3d print file for free🙏? 😢

The propeller is broken not the arm, right? I would never use printed propeller nor those cheap one that sometimes offered from China. Try to get original Yuneec props. Props for H520 or H Plus or H3 are the same.

H450 is that the same?

If you meant H480 (Typhoon H), then NO. The H480 props will fit the hubs but are shorter and thinner. They are less robust and provide less lift.
Where can i change it, with alternatif or modify the propeller, maybe u have an advice. Cause it far from here. Im from Indonesia

The output from flash-id looks good. The FW upload of the bin file should work. But it takes time, you have to be patient.

With my D1 module it takes 23.6sec for Kahuna FW.

I remember that there were sometimes problems with Windows. Since I use LINUX I have no problems. Maybe Windows needs an older version of the Espressive ESPtool, I don't know. I will test when I boot an older notebook with Windows.
