Flying without GPS question

How does the H fly with gps off? Is it still stable will it hover if you let go of the sticks? What experiences have people had with gps off.
If you turn it off can you turn it back on while flying?

You can turn it off and on while in flight. It will hover but will drift with the wind. There is no position hold. It is also very fast and if your go full right stick in any direction it will lose altitude so never fly low with GPS off. You must be proficient flying in angle mode. Smart mode and RTH do not work with GPS off. You must keep the H in view so you can tell the orientation. At the first sign of panic, gain altitude and then turn the GPS on.

Perhaps let go of the right stick for a moment as well. Not much point in driving it further in any direction when you may be unsure of what you are doing. Up is usually safe though.

I'll tell you how it flies, it flies FAST!!
Like the guys above mentioned, fly high and clear of any obstacles in Angel mode with OBS off, 40+mph can be achieved.
Just remember, this is not a racing drone...if a a rogue obstacle pops up, your going to have to think and react FAST.

Does anyone know what happens if I lose controller connection with the H in non-GPS mode? What's it's failsafe? Will it switch GPS back on and rth or just carry on drifting?
