Got a TH to replace my Q500’s

It should get a little easier to properly seat the battery with time. When the battery gets to near full charge it will go into balance charge mode and flash alternately red and green. On full charge you will get a solid green light.

Yes, it will also handle a 128 GB SD card. Just make sure you get a Class 10 U3 (a 3 inside the U) card so you can record in smooth 4K video. You can see what that looks like in the first photo of the SD card and camera.

There is a 64 in there and am going to put a 32 in there. Should i exchange the charger for a new one. All indications show they are connected except for the indication on the screen. When I got this far with the q500 I actually started it indoors without props of course and it did. Didn't with the h but we'll see. **** it's such a beautiful day here too.

Rather than consider getting a replacement charger, I suggest upgrading... to properly care for your batteries, you will need a better charger than the Yuneec OEM charger provided. See this thread:

DY5 Charger

The corresponding DY3 charger for Typhoon H and H Pro

Typhoon H Dual Battery Quick Charge Kit by Venom
Yuneec EVPEAK Dual Charger for Typhoon H Battery

or completely cover all bases, by getting a 3rd party charger and adapter cables for the Typhoon H... the primary advantage is the ability to easily monitor Internal Resistance. This measurement will give you the most direct way of tracking the health of your batteries. The charger below fits the bill:

Hitec X2 AC Plus Black

and the corresponding cable for H batteries

Can't get the SD card to click. I pushed two different ones in and harder than I like to but no click. The camera is connected because all of the icons seem to be in order. The problem is the right hand top of the screen says SD not detected or something like that. Camera comes on the screen, moves around and all but I'm confused.

I need to ask an SD question but after reading a three year old thread I realize that I have the same problem. SD goes in tight but won't click like the cgo3 in the q500. Everything on the screen shows all as it should be except on the top right side of the screen it displays SD not detected. Any thing else that I might try? I really don't want to press it harder.

Are you sure you're installing it the right way? Should be contacts in and facing towards the camera lens. The click can be subtle, more feel it than hear it. As long as it sits basically flush with the housing, you're good. Good luck.

I just got it two days ago so maybe it might not need to. Remember this is indoors so I don't know the answer to that. I lost my q500 in a 45 mile an hour wind which was supposed to blow over an hour later! So I bought the last h at best buy.

Do you have (or can borrow) another card to try?

Do the cards remain depressed when inserted? Do the cards release when depressed? If so it’s working correctly. Not one of my devices using an SD card generates a “click”. Go Pro, Sony camera, Nikon camera, game cameras, CGO-3’s, CGO-4, laptops, or tablet, none click.

It's no wonder today's cards are depressed... constantly bullied... being called "micro" ?

I believe it didn't come up when depressed. I'll give it another try. Thanks
