From what I can see after updating
Battery low RTH and force landing are still there. But won't know if it can be cancelled from the transmitter until test flight.
Double screen tap removes all info except for video feed, as H480.
Timelapse feature added in photo settings.

@Kev Waite how did you discover the changes? Are there release notes any where? Or did you just discover these changes yourself through investigation?

Unfortunately there are no release notes. Just found the changes by looking. There maybe more changes, hopefully we will get some notes from Yuneec

We now know, through flight testing that they have fixed the forced RTH and forced auto landing on low battery in this update. It will still auto return to home at 27% but by flicking the flight mode switch from angle to manual and back, it cancels the forced RTH. At 17% it was still flying.

Sounds like somebody has some disposable batteries.

Better a battery than the whole aircraft. This is fundamental.

Cases have already been mentioned where it is necessary to be able to cancel the RTL in order to bring the aircraft safely home or to make a landing in a safe area. The clearest example? Flying over water.

It is clear that things have to be made easier for the pilot but in this case it was an error the previous mode of operation. It is the pilot's responsibility to know the correct operation and limits of the various aircraft components. This doesn't take away that I may be the first one to screw up and kill the orange bird, otherwise it didn't leave you any room for manoeuvre.

I do not know, the H520 has a brand new electronics and it would be best to communicate directly with Yuneec. Apparently the plug is provided, but the function should not be implemented in the firmware.

Hello,
The failsafe battery has been updated with the last update.
If the Kopter can get into the battery Failsafe by switching to the Manuel or. Back in Angle mode again completely controlled.
There is no shutdown and the helicopter flies as long as there is power, that was it, did not it?

greeting

Hallo,

Thanks to Yuneec UK we have a list, I don't know if very precise, of the changes of each version.
