Im wondering if we could put together a preflight and pre landing checklist particularly for newbs?

This would give a us a precise procedure to follow to lessen the chance of a catastrophe.

Here is the link for the one referenced above. Nice list geared towards the Q500 but can easily be edited to work for the H.
