The documentation that came with your H references for line of sight use, not beyond line of sight. None of the included antennas or firmware versions alter that distance in any way. It’s the law. Any distance further than LOS is something the user elects to do and as it violates federal law Yuneec could bot provide that distance without accepting liability for it.
Personally, I would view 3000’ as a maximum distance, although Yuneec does mention a mile in earlier advertising. Longer distances will only be obtained IF the conditions permit them. How you orient the antennas, obstructions between the -16 and aircraft, 2.4gig RF and WiFi saturation, along with your body position will also impact functional distance.
