ST-16 wifi problems

I'm having trouble with my controller.
I try to switch wifi on but it won't!
i switch the wifi on in the pad, the button goes to ON but the screen just hangs saying "to see available networks, turn wifi on"!!!
Any ideas? Thanks.

All I know is, if you use wifi on the tablet, it automatically turns off when you exit the tablet and go back to flight mode.
I wanted to stream music while I flew! Lol

without wifi, i can't get the UAV Toolbox working. I've downloaded telemetry files to pc but the online UAV Toolbox won't let me register in order to upload files manually. I assume i can only register from the controller? Frustrating...
