Why is it that very few drone manufactures bother to reply to a customers concerns. Has it become so commercialised that the companies no longer care about there customer service, we have sold the suckers. This is not only directed at Yuneec at the moment. I have a breeze with a controller that doesn't work. Connected to wifi and Bluetooth, go into the app, go to tasks, go to control and the app switches off. Contacted who I thought was yuneec and zero.

What phone are you using?

Sounds just like what mine was doing with an iPhone 5c. The Bluetooth on that phone was not compatible. On iPhone 5s and newer you should be fine.

On other equipment you’ll need WiFi capable of 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1 or better ( a few devices with BT 4.0 will work, but no guarantees).

I checked some of your earlier posts and found where you were able to connect. Not sure which device you were using, I think an iPad. Check this post Breeze controller not connected and then read post #23. When you swipe through all of the screens you should be good to go.

I also noticed you wanted a way to mount your iPad with the controller so give this a try Tablet holder for the controller. You can thank @TStover for this inexpensive and effective solution.

There are clearly operator errors and system errors. We all seem to have both until we get the hang of things. I’m somewhat new to drones and had connection issues, Breezes that did not work (took back and exchanged for others that did work) and had to figure out issues. I found Yuneec very easy to communicate with via live chat on the web.

It’s very important we all learn proper procedures to start up and fly safely. Far too many never read the manual or take the time to learn the simplist of things like RTH height; orbit diameter, ... then the drone crashes and they blame the drone!

Take responsibility to learn your new drone. Understand there are a few (not many) that may not work but you must understand your surroundings too!! Interference/ large metal objects, ...

I hope you get your issues resolved.

I write this on a river boat in France. Time for breakfast!!

Hi, thanks for your replies. I can fly the breeze with my phones no worries but I bought a controller unit and want to fly with that. Maybe I need to bind it but how. Nothing works I have tried everything I have research and zero with the controller,As I said I follow the the suggestion by other members,I link it to blue tooth, tap the app, tap tasks, tap on pilot, as soon as I tap the controller, the app shuts down. I had simpler binding problem with my spark until a guy on you tube clued me up with a different way. ( I know the spark is wifi)Bingo my spark is a goer.

What model phone are you using? I have experienced the same thing DoomMeister mentions above (and the same issue you are having) with an iPhone 5c, but with a 5s and above it works perfectly. It likely could be that you are using an older phone and the bluetooth stack on that phone is not compatible with using the Breeze controller.

The controller connects to the phone via bluetooth, and the phone connects to the Breeze via 5.8GHz wifi - the controller doesn't connect directly to the breeze, it does so through the phone - so if the controller can't properly connect to the phone due to the phone using an older bluetooth implementation - you'll have the exact issue you're having ;) Mine - on the older 5c - says it is connected in bluetooth settings, but same as you the app force closes when I try to use controller.
