Battery door on q500

I haven't used my q at all for some time because the battery door can't click onto the fastener inside the frame. I looked on Ebay trying to find the replacement part that screws onto the frame on the inside. The door is fine but the connection doesn't connect. Any suggestions? I can't imagine something so easy could not be fixed with a little imagination. I just ain't the guy.
