The size of them being white would mean a lot of no see your drone. That is why ours should be the dark colour that it is under neath with the top shell painted white. After all 98 % of the time we are looking at the H from the bottom or side not from the top, unless you fly down alot of valleys or raveens.

Never thought about color to be honest. White is predominant in soaring for sure. At distance most A/C are silhouettes as you know. Models I prefer orange, black, red. White and blue are a challenge to see at altitude/distance.
