Took the UV filter off the E90 just to check the thread arrangement and it doesn’t want to go back on properly. I tightened it up but if you put a bit of sideways pressure on the edge you can feel the threads slipping and then it is loose again. It will just work loose during a flight.
The adaptor ring seems to tighten up nicely - the threads on the filter must be pretty weak.

Try a bit of plumbers tape around the threads. I realize there isn't' much room but it might help, maybe scotch tape also.

I had the same issue. Terrible quality default supplied lens protector.

Just buy a 39mm UV filter of reputable make. Goes straight on. Get an ultra slim one to reduce load on the gimbal.

You don't need the ring adaptor. That's just to allow you to use the more standard 40.5mm filters, but the adaptor plus final filter makes the gimbal do more work.

I was worried that the thread on the camera was the culprit initially, not so bad if it’s just the filter.

Just bought a 39mm uv filter, this need to be installed upside down unfortunately a lens protector won’t work. Has anyone found a rubber cap or similar for their E90
