Got a TH to replace my Q500’s

True but when I look down quickly and look back to the drone I want to know what I'm looking at whether it's the screen or the craft.

Go into settings and set the screen brightness to full up and auto.

@Peter b , please read my PM and do your posting here Got a TH to replace my Q500’s until you get more familiar with the TH.

Well the SD card has been solved with some help from my wife and now the charging situation is also fixed. It's a beautiful day but even with the sun screen I won't do anything except the compass Cal. I want the screen to be totally visable when I take off. I'LL be back when I make my first attempt. Thanks guys,
What was the problem with the SD card? I thought about this thread as I was removing the SD card from my drone today. There are two clicks when either inserting or removing the card. Not very loud but definitely audible and my hearing generally sucks. One click when the card is fully depressed and another when the pressure is released.

My hearing must be worse than yours. I just go by brail. I can feel a card catch or latch when inserted far enough and release when it’s depressed further to remove it.

Something I’ve found with the CGO-4, if when inserting a card it does not latch during the first insertion it will not latch for subsequent depressions unless and until the card is removed and re-inserted. Evidently the latch mechanism has to reset after an unsuccessful insertion. This issue typically occurs if the card was not depressed far enough the first time.

I have not experienced that with an H but it’s something that may be possible with a CGO-3.

With the ST-16, the manner the card receiver was installed in the bottom of the controller makes card insertion a bit of a pain as the receiver sits a little to deep in the bottom of the controller.

It is possible to install a card backwards in both a CGO-3 and an ST-16. With both the ST-16 and CGO-3 the card label needs to face the back of the device. If a card is inserted backwards in either device it will have to be removed using a fine point tool to drag it out. Attempts to remove a reverse installed card by depressing it will not work.
