Losing my visual on st16 200 ft out

The WiFi from my St16 controller to the CGO3+ gets weak at 300 ft from bird and disconnects. I can’t see anything. I have tried everything that I know to do.. does anyone have a fix?

300' is definitely a short range. Obviously it should be much better.
Have you tried it in a different location?
Is there a clear line of sight from the ST16 to the H?
Is this a rural or urban area?

This is happened in multiple locations I have reset the controller the factory data reset re-uploaded filmware took camera of gimbal but it back on. Nothing has worked

Ok. If you remove the antenna and look inside the connector on the ST16 there should be a center pin sticking out about 1/4" from the base of the connector. Look to see if the pin is there.

If your using the flat square you have to have it pointed at the H and nothing in between you and the H. Even branches can be an issue. Clear direct line is most advantages. I used the square and I didn't like it, went back to the mushroom. Got buzzed.
