My cost for my FAA drone certification, $155 dollars

Wanted to share my experience passing the part 107 exam.

I passed my exam on the first try a few days ago with a 90% and this is how I did it. I watched a few videos on METARS, TAFS and Sectionals via Youtube which were very helpful as the exam is heavy on questions in these areas. I also discovered, via YouTube a Googleplay app called UAS107 (link below). This app contain an excellent array of prep questions with lots of training resources. Many of the questions I found on the exam were very similar to those found in the app. My cost for certification $155 ($150 for the exam fee, $5 dollars for the app) UAS107 (Part 107 Prep Exam) - Android Apps on Google Play

Well congratulations Senord on your passing the exam. Whatever your approach was to teaching yourself what was needed to pass, it evidently worked well. I used RemotePilot101.com and was very pleased. Enjoy your new certification.

Being an AOPA member my discounted test fee was $140.00 and all training materials were free from the FAA website.
