I had to do it guys, the toilet bowl issue is annoying to say the least, so I gave Yuneec a email, which I got a reference number, called them at exactly 10 am my time today, was a 14 minute wait. I opted for the call back option. 14 minutes later, there was the call. So after telling him of my experiences with the H toilet bowling without warning this time 100 feet in the air at a job, I was clear this was going to be a major issue since I do inspections with this uas. I need the pics to be clear, so the drone needs to kinda stay put for awhile. He immediately said the compass isn't holding, due to my testing of flying straight yesterday with the gps on and off it couldn't keep a straight line without me helping it. GPS off straight, GPS on curved line. Out 0f 4 attempt at pano shots it started acting up 2 of the times thus wasting time and gas on 2 jobs. (This is why im getting a back up UAS soon) So I expressed my concern over the horrific turn around times, he said they change things up a bit to speed them up, so they partner with different repair companies and send you to the nearest one. The turn around time is 7-10 business days. So I have her boxed up:( and ready for shipment. Lets hope for a speedy recovery lol

Hope it gets fixed. Also hope it's not going to Kansas City.

No located in Minnesota which sucks because that’s the location they sent me too. What’s so bad about Kansas?
Based on reports in this forum by members, few have gotten a good fix in KC. On the other hand, we have seen many good reports of service work at Colts Neck, NJ and Syracuse, NY.
Where are you located in MN?

Shakopee, 1 mile from the biggest casino in the MN. 15 minutes from Mpls. I’m hoping for a good fix. The H flew fine without the gps on. It’s just I kind of need it working at that price.

Well Steve I figured I would give Yuneec a shot at repairs. I have a plan. I’m not new to building multirotors. If they don’t get it done. Let’s just say I will replace the gps, upgrade the antennas on the H itself. Replace the lens on the cgo3+. Doing theses mods I knew that my warranty would be voided. So I was waiting on next spring to do them. I’m the type if it’s under warranty let them fix what should be working. It sucks it’s down but I have 3 planes, 2 custom freestyle quads, and 5 quads from horizon hobby. I’m 20 years in this hobby. Love every part of it. Even the mishaps. Because you learn quickly in this hobby things go wrong it’s only time.

By the same token, what good is a warranty where your item spends all of it's time on their bench instead of in the air under your control? I tend to not do anything that will void warranties on my goodies. I don't put loud exhaust on my motorcycles, or get inside my ham radios to do modifications until the warranties are expired.

That’s why I was waiting till the spring lol. I knew the antenna mod would be noticeable on the H. I still don’t know why they went with subpar antennas. It’s not like it’s 5 years ago and the options were limited. The beauty about hop ups is they make your rc better. That’s the side of the hobby I miss. Where the operator had full control over upgrading or not. It was almost suggested in the forums that one upgrade parts. Not today as much they lock a system down that can be modified. Flight controllers should be able to be adjusted in my opinion.

Sorry brother I know the frustration yunnec try to send me to plano Texas and I found terrestrial here in the forum and if I got denied for warranty then I Sen my h to wherever I want so terrestrial image got it

Thanks, I miss her already, been tracking progress. Its almost there. On the delivery truck. Im just hoping they find the issue before the weekend. I looked up the repair shop on google earth. Looks small so hopefully they value customer service.

Just a note; it seems Yuneec is authorizing more repair centers in various locations. Some of them may not have any history in multirotors.staples in Canada is on a different footing, acting more as a customs broker for trans border shipping. The Canadian postal authorities tend to muck things up pretty good without one.
