Is there anyway to verify that telemetry is being recorded correctly before starting flight. 2 flights today, first one I travelled 10000km apparently, and second flight details were correct, so need to see if there is a way to check before starting flight. Same SD card both times

SD card should have nothing to do with it since telemetry goes directly to the flight log folder in the pad. It can be distributed from there via SD card or through a direct connection between the 16 and laptop.

Best guess is the system did not establish a good initial GPS fix for the first flight. We don't know how long was provided to establish the fix, or if satellite count was sufficient for an accurate fix. In any case, we're not dealing with the most sophisticated GPS systems in these things. They generally work pretty well, but not always.
