Some owners seem to have more problems than others when it comes to drifting and errors, so I wondered if it would show up in the calibration. My H has been flying very well lately, so I've just put it on a level (ish) surface in my house and plugged it into the Windows GUI. These are the readings:
Accelerometer:
X -15
Y -10
Z -1000
Gyroscope
X -3
Y 3
Z 1
Orientation
Roll 0.6
Pitch -0.3
Yaw 175.8
How do those figures compare with your machines? Post your results here! I've not reported the other numbers as they'll depend on where in the world you are. Nor have I looked at GPS - my readings indoors are all over the place.
As a side note, Yaw of 175.8 is probably about right, it's facing more or less south. Z accelerometer of -1000mG (ie. -1G) is correct for this planet
Another question - how do you switch your Typhoon on? It sounds silly, but when it first initialises, I assume it zeros various values. So I always put the H on a solid surface, and then just press the button without moving the machine. Then I usually end up leaving it there whilst I find where I put the ST-16... In other words, the H is always pretty much still when it starts up. I wonder if that helps?
