I am working on the Q Carbon Fiber Plate Reinforcement Modification. I understand the washers are no longer needed. Some, not all, of the plastic lips the washers were seated against are busted, cracked or flaked away. On a couple motors there are one or two of the lips are in perfect condition. One person here said he used a dremel tool to remove all the lips for everything to be level. Question: Is it important to level all four of the lips before adding the CF plates, or will the plates themselves, due to how they are made, level out the motors? How important is it to level out / remove the remaining uncracked lips?
