ST16 Video Receiver Replacement

Does anyone have any experience replacing the Video rx on the St16? I was having issues as explained in this thread I posted a while back

I tried resetting and rebinding to no avail. I figured I could try to replace the video rx to resolve my issues. So if anyone has any tips for this replacement or any other comments I would love to hear them.

So it worked! My hunch was right that the video RX in the transmitter was acting goofy. I installed the new one and everything works perfectly. Attached are photos of the two RX boards. Does anyone know why the original board on the left is discolored? Is it overheated or something of the likes?

would have to see what the other side of the board looks like.
Glad you were able to SELF repair your ST-16.
Did you happen to take pictures of the repair process? May help others in the future.

I don't have any other pictures or video but I would be more than happy to guide someone through it if they needed help.
