Will the steady grip work with the gimbal from the H?

Yes, but only with some Steady Grips also called Actioncams. The Steady Grip needs to have the 3 electrical contacts in the gimbal rail for the CGO3+ gimbal to operate. The earlier CGO2 & CGO3 gimbals use a cable with Molex connectors that plugs into the Steady Grip. The CGO3+ does not have a connector for the cable, so it relies on the gimbal rail contacts. This is the later style that is backward compatible with the earlier cameras, because it not only has the 3 contacts, but it also has the connector for the cable.
