You can check your version number by using the CGO app on iOS or the CGO3 app on Android if mounted to the SteadyGrip. If you are mounted to the aircraft just check in the ST16 System Settings, About Controller while bound.

Check with @WTFDproject , but I do not think you can revert the gimbal to an earlier firmware.

Version 1.25 and earlier seem to be associated with the earlier IMU board used on CGo2 and most CGo3 series cameras. Some CGo3 series cameras came with a different IMU that appears to be the same as used on C23/E90 and maybe later. The one time I downgraded a version 1.27 camera to version 1.25 resulted in a bricked camera. I don't have any technical literature to substantiate the observations. But I suspect if you downgrade the camera, you will have to send it off for recalibration prior to use.
